Louise Marshall Hospital is there for you, your family and your neighbours when you need to see specialists, have tests done or need our emergency room or day surgery. Visitors to our area appreciate the professional, personalized care of our small rural hospital.
Every year our Foundation is provided a list of priority projects which require funding. Financial support from friends like you funds these projects and allows us to move forward to build the new Emergency and Ambulatory Care expansion, both of which are not financed wholly by government agencies or through other sources.
Early in 2013, The Foundation began fundraising for a new Emergency and Ambulatory Care expansion. In 2015, the efforts of the Always Here for You Campaign Committee and Foundation Directors had brought us to 90% of our goal for the portion of funding needed from our community. After numerous ministry meetings with senior management and much planning, we are all very excited to have been given the go ahead to proceed with Stage 3 - the Planning Stage of this much anticipated Redevelopment. Staff has begun detailing layout, electrical, mechanical and technology systems for each room while important work has already begun on infrastructure upgrades which are important preliminaries to expansion. Of course, during all stages of work, our highest priority continues to be quality patient care.
