Wheelchair/Assistive Device Access
Entrances at NWHC – Mount Forest Louise Marshall Hospital and the offices of LMHF (operated within the hospital administration area) are wheelchair accessible. If you need a wheelchair please ask a staff member upon arrival
Wheelchair-accessible washrooms are available in the following locations:
- Ambulatory Care
- Oncology Clinic
- Diagnostic Imaging
- Labour and Delivery Room
Service animals are welcome to accompany visitors to LMHF and are allowed in all public areas of the premises. If possible, please inform staff in advance of your visit so that we may ensure that your service animal can be accommodated
Support persons are welcome to accompany visitors or donors to our organization
Notice of Temporary Disruption
In the event of a planned or unexpected disruption to services or facilities for visitors with disabilities at Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation, notification will be promptly posted on our office door. Information about the reason for disruption, anticipated duration and description of alternative facilities or services, if available will be included on this notice.
The Foundation will provide training to all employees, volunteers and others who deal with the public or third parties on our behalf. Training will also be provided to people involved in the development of policies, plans, practices and procedures related to the operation of our organization
