Michael is a Division Director with Investors Group in Owen Sound. He has a diploma in Business Marketing from Fanshawe College, and a degree in Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies Program, with a major in Finance and Administration from the University of Western Ontario.  He was born and raised on a farm just west of Mount Forest.

Michael was elected to the NWHC Board of Directors in June 2014.
