Judy Dirksen is a Counicllor for the Town of Minto. As a Council member, Judy has served on many committees in the past including the Clifford Housing Corporation, the Ausable-Bayfield Maitland Valley Source Water Protection Project, and served as the municipal representative on the North Wellington Health Care Board for many years.

Judy and her husband Dick have owned and operated their family farm between Harriston and Teviotdale for over 35 years where the focus has been on cattle, crops and custom work services. They are the proud parents of three adult children, two daughter-in-laws and 7 grandchildren. Along with her duties on the farm, Judy is a long time volunteer in the community, in local schools and in her church. She feels it is important for people involved in agriculture to tell their story and did that in a formal way for ten years as Wellington County’s Dairy Educator.
