A COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at Louise Marshal Hospital (LMH), after two hospital-acquired infections were identified on the inpatient unit.

Mount Forest, ON…A COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at Louise Marshal Hospital (LMH), after two hospital-acquired infections were identified on the inpatient unit.

There is currently no inpatient visiting permitted at the hospital.

The hospital is working with Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health (WDGPH) to respond to the outbreak including patient COVID testing and ongoing monitoring of staff. The exact variant of COVID-19 is not known at this time.

LMH’s emergency department, diagnostic imaging, ambulatory care (including oncology), day surgery (not requiring hospital admission) services remain open. Please call ahead to confirm your appointment as plans could change.
